    That's a dish of an Indian snack called bhel puri; it's like rice krispies mixed with tamarind, cilantro, chiles and other veggies. It's spicy, sweet, sour and awesome!

    The beer seemed like a perfect match.

    Forbidden Root....... Forbidden Root! Got to pour with them at an event and BJ is a super nice guy. Glad to finally have purchased a 4-pack months after I promised too! I next have to find Sublime Ginger.

    Beer 1 of Maine Beer Co. Hop Program - almost a cross between a full IPA and session IPA. Super crisp and crushable - seems like less than 6.5% ABV until you get done with the bottle faster than expected.

    My last HopSlam and I'm actually happy about it. This is a good beer don't get me wrong, I just had bought a case of it feeling like I had to drink it before it lost its greatness. I also had a lot of other hoppy beers that I had bought or had come in on trade and buying a case was just a bad decision on my part, I won't do it next year no matter how much I like it.

    Anchor IPA. I know that it isn't a favorite around her as much as some other IPAs but I love the fact that it tends to be more citrus based and doesn't muder me with upfront hops. Just a terrific drinkin' IPA, IMO.

    This is actually pretty damn good. Nice bite on the finish and a nice citrusy/floral taste. Happy Monday, BAs.

    still continuing with my lovely gift box.... started with duchesse de bourgogne (I'm really starting to feel quite spoiled at this point....and I'm less than 1/2 way done with this box!)

    then moved on to something not in the box.... a brown shugga'....

    Time for a fresh Troeg's Cultivator, a really nice spring bock beer with "hints of toasted grains, fresh baked bread and delicate floral hops."
