I've seen it from $21.99 up to $24.99 around here. That is towards the high end but in range.
Just killed a 2012 BCBCS...then I had something else...it was a nano black IPA, but I don't remember where it was from....other than Mizzou. It was tasty though. *Edit* Shit, drunk post.
Wow...nice!! Keeping the Christmas theme and quoting A Christmas Story..."it's not bad...it's not good, but it's not bad"
2011 Backwoods Bastard.
Get a TBK White Rajah and thank me later
Bottled 12/17/12, just hit yesterday here in VA, but took a month to get here on shelves. A buddy of mine picked up a case and 3 of us split up the 4-packs.
Did you enjoy enjoy it better fresh or aged?
Don't really know you other than enjoying your posts, but enjoy that young 'un! Goes by fast, man.
This does make my slightly sad, but it had to be done. Didn't resemble an IPA, at all. This is what happens to old IPA's...
Doing that drinkin local thing.
I want to be your sink! Cheers bro ~
I really didnt think we would get an inch of snow tonight within 1 hour, while its still 40 degrees. Also since it was 70-75 degrees 4 days ago. Cheers to global warming!
Innis & Gunn #2
This shit's actually really good...
That's just good math on your part! Cheers ~
2 week old MBC MO. Excellent beer, prob a top 3 APA for me. Not my pic, nice one though.
Happy Birthday to your little girl!
Enjoy her and make her a sister
Thanks to whoever it was a couple of days back who recommended mixing these two.
HOPSLAM x 2. Cheers.
this is my 2nd to last Cold Mountain 12oz and it's delicious.
Not pictured is the terrapin Big Hoppy Monster, after an evening of various local IPA samples
Both aged and fresh are great. No real preference for me. I don't usually age more than one year though.
If you did love the CW more, you would be the first one I know of.
Still a decent stout though.
My thoughts exactly!
Now a BSBC, 08/23/12...very good, but tastes different than my others bottled a bit later
I've heard a select few argue simply on the pricepoint (paid 11.99 for a 4-pack as opposed to a little under twice as much for BCBS). To me CW's has a milky characteristic to it that contrasts it to BCBS - overall while good, still like BCBS a lot more, 11$ a 4-pack more makes me think though...
Bell's Bourbon Barrel Aged Cherry Stout
Bell's Black Note
Bell's This One Goes To 11
The line up for tonight on this thirsty Thursday. WOW I LOVE THIS....SUCKS!! Gonna have to buy me a case. Ps: gotta thank my wife for picking this up for me
