Why is everyone drinking stouts this early? Heavy beer and high ABV...it's gonna slow down your day.

First American hoppy beer in more than a month. Courtesy of my neighbor who made the trek to Maine for Dinner release. Great head and lacing. Nice tropical fruit nose and initial taste. Slight astringent, lingering bitterness. We all know this is a great IPA; However, would honestly prefer a few Pilsners on the deck this sunny afternoon.

Going for some less-expensive craft brew today. Grabbed the Point IPA Variety 12 pack. The Spruce Tip IPA is pretty tasty.

Just finished washing the car with the help of my kiddos. Now it's time to sit down on the porch, enjoy the fine weather, and watch the world go by. First time with this gose and it is hitting the spot right now. Cheers BA!

I respect that Clown Shoes releases so many barrel aged beers at a great price and makes them available. The base beers are all fantastic. I really wish they'd let them sit in the barrels longer though (some more than others). This is one of the best milk stouts I've ever had...and I'm not a huge fan of milk stouts. However, the barrel is too faint IMO. Still a delicious brew from a solid brewery.
