    Enjoying this 19.3% ABV barlewine from Mikkeller. Super sweet, but actually quite enjoyable. Toffee, caramel, vanilla, oak, alcohol, maple syrup, candied plums with a mild nuttiness. Cheers!

    Nice! Honestly I was a little surprised at the line at Beverage Baron today, I think the entire delivery was gone before I even paid for my case. Wish I could have gotten some SoS and / or Second Fiddle too, but there's always a next time.

    And let's face it. As good as the beer is I do not go to VT for beer. It is so beautiful,and I am happiest when I am out in the VT woods either on foot, snowshoe, ski, or bike.

    No, either way we gotta get outta this house. The bedrooms aren't set up the right way for our kids and we just can't keep up on the repairs necessary to stay in a house built in c. 1867!

    Here's my East Coast/Middle America/West Coast beef: every other part of the country except the west coast brews and bottles BW's, RIS and BBA BW's and RIS in 12oz...not here.
    I wanna have some of that Central Waters BA BW, I love BBA Black Note!

    I'm bringing a 2102 Oude Tart to a kids party on Sunday and I know a couple of the dads are sour-style fans. Pulled the Punishment out thinking I may finally unload that on some unsuspecting blokes. I think it's be an awesome marinade for steak or chicken but alas I'm a vegetarian.
    By beef with Stone BA releases is that they are, likeNorth Coast, 500ml but equal or more than an equivalent BA bomber or 750 price. Had BA IRS on fridayand while good, wasn't worth the $dub I dropped on it.
