Back to the predecessor. Having these back to back really reminds me of how awesome each beer really is encouraging me to enjoy each and every sip. Oh yea and the ZombieSlam/ Hop Dust is yet to come Cfrances33!

Brother in law brought down a growler of OpaOpa Pale Ale. Good session ale, not a lot going on. Good for social setting and pizza...but...

He also brought a bottle of Maudite...score!

Back on this one, yet again, to start the day/evening. I love how this one tastes, "big" beer company or not..

OK, this is a 'first try,' and at first examination, it seems dead, and stale and a bit imbalanced. Or is it because my last one (a Hopslam) seemed so good to me?!

Whatta day, brewing up a batch of what will be a vanilla, chocolate, bourbon porter and had a bad boil over (indicated by all the schmutz on the sides of the kettle:

Then decided to wash the spilled wort with some water that was left soaking in one of my glass carboys...(you see where this is goin')...dropped the carboy and it shattered all over the floor under my kettle. Put a leather glove on to pick up the big pieces and vacuum the rest and still cut my finger; to be safe, 'will have to strain it on the way into the fermenter. The wort's now chillin' and I'm sipping my first beer of the day to calm my nerves!

    That's a waste of a 4 pack!! After the first 4, it won't matter what you're drinking...

[IMG]My wife and I took a drive over to Steel Toe Brewing and picked up a couple of growlers. She really like the Provider Ale and while I really liked the Rainmaker Double Red I stayed in my comfort zone and got the Size 7 IPA. Having my 2nd glass with a nice T-Bone.
For those interested, the Size 11 DIPA won't be out till March as they want to finish the taproom first. My first trip to Steel Toe. It won't be my last.

Enjoying the last of my Back 40's. Very nice beer.

Listening to some tunes that I haven't listened to in a while this weekend. Bringing me back to my younger days.
