Yeah it's pretty good.

Arcadia Cheap Date IPA, Arcadia Rosemary Raspberry Porter, Arcadia Salted Caramel Amber & Moonlight Kurt's Apple Pie
I had it for the first time back in March of 2014 and really enjoyed it - guess it came around again this year but didn't hit my area or I missed it Ah, well, at least you're enjoying it
HF Arthur. Just fantastic
I keep skipping it over, and then suddenly it showed up recently.... hmmm... gonna do some digging on that one...
Odell - Lugene Milk Chocolate Stout
More JP for your enjoyment:
Wasn't going to tonight, but I had a long day, hit the weights good and am watching the end of the Anaheim/Chicago game so...why not?
A bit of a basement dive, bottled 12/6/13, and I get some baker's chocolate but I get a nice hit of smoke that I don't really remember but I welcome it. The 12% is not there at all. Great, underrated stout from CL. See you boys and girls on the other side.
That's it? "Pretty good" You were all bold-faced, "enjoying the fuck outta this brew" before lol
Southern Tier Tiere de Garde as my nightcap. Not bad, but not sure I love it either.
SmuttyNose Finest Kind IPA
I'm actually rather disappointed with it. It's just sort of bland for an IPA. It's quite drinkable mind you, I was just expecting more flavor. It tastes like a watered down macro IPA to me.
Okay... helped Son #1 (aka: Thing 1 ) study Biology most of the night and know he's gonna rock it tomorrow! Now it's time for dad to pick up where I left off earlier this evening with the closers (and enjoying this glass on it's farewell Maiden Voyage before it has to be put back prior to her getting home tomorrow!) Shhhhhhhh ...
Memory lane for us "old timers". (!!! !!!)
Not bad, definitely not the hell spawn everyone talks about. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and light herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish; with a smooth finish and some light wheat creaminess. Well balanced fruit and bready malt flavors. No fruit tartness or slick mouthfeel of any sort; and no cloying or medicinal flavors. Its pretty one dimensional as expected; but I am not getting any cough syrup crap other people are seeing, nor is it overly fruit forward in flavor. Pleasantly enjoyable and refreshing.
NEW version, I only reviewed the old one once and wasn't a fan; but I like all of the hatter series bombers so I probably should have revisited. Anyways, this is a great IPA! Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with some moderate caramel/toasted bread malts and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with a very smooth finish with some creaminess and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Really well balanced malt/bitter profile while still letting the hops shine out overall. Definitely a fan, I might throw this in my New Holland rotation now. I usually keep something they make in my go-to beer section of the fridge. This recipe upgrade was spot on.
This is really delicious. Similar to the coffee blonde ales I like to drink(Hey bean flicker), with a Belgian character side to the equation. Aromas and flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa, caramel, toast, light vanilla/cream, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, and light earthy herbal hop notes. Nice moderate yeast spicy finish; with a nice balance between the yeast, malt, and coffee/cocoa flavors. Well carbonated and smooth/crisp finish with a light amount of bready creaminess. No complaints at all. Really well done.
Finally fully listened to this album today. Just absolutely insane. Easily the best album of the year so far for Prog metal. I wasn't a huge fan of Coal, so I am glad they went back near their old style of writing songs. Waiting on Symphony X, Be'Lakor, and Between the Buried and Me in the coming months to see who wins.
Love Cereal Killer. How is the barrel aged?
