    Back home after failing miserably in the Allegheny 100 mile hiking challenge. Torrential rains turned the trail into a mud pit. My feet were soaked and I was slipping all over the trail and huge blisters eventually broke out everywhere. Saturday just when I started thinking I would go as far as I could it started pouring again. That one broke most of the people out there and a lot of us shut it down early. I'm curious to see how many make it to the end but out of 110 registrants I'll be surprised if more than 5 make it.

    I did stop at The Brew Kettle on the way to the trail and have this fresh awesomeness to numb the pain. I would show you pictures of my feet but you might not want to keep drinking after seeing them. Cheers!

    By the way, for those questioning the veracity of the "drinking now" part of this post, I'm indeed drinking this brew as of 9AM MST. Buuuut, I can't for the life of me figure out how to snap a pic on my iPhone with the brightness in the background that obscures the closer object that one also wants to show. Does anyone care to offer any tricks? The view here is stunning and I would have loved to capture both the beer and the mountains.
