Tonight I'm having the fourth bottle from a six pack of a beer called Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc. This is a Witbier that nicely answers the prenneial question of "What beer can I serve to guests who think they don't like hops or don't like beer." If you want a strongly favored Wit this may not be the one to buy, but if you are looking for one that is lightly flavored, refreshing and enjoyable this is one to take a close look at.

In keeping with the fact that this beer is brewed in France, my selection of music on the player tonight is a collection of highlights from what may be the most famous French opera of all time, Carmen by Georges Bizet. While Bizet never lived to see the success of his work it is among the most performed operas ever, and there are two pieces in particular which are among the most performed opera arias in the world. Even people who think they don't like opera have often heard and maybe even liked the Toreador Song and the Habanera.

Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin, some actually made it back from my trip! Stanley Cup, pulling for the Lightning, but barely. Busy day, had to pick up the Father-in-law & the dog today. Still rainy not sure if we will ever dry out. Who ever that is doing the raindance can stop now, drought is over here...

Picked up a local beer at the local market. The label is by far the most appealing thing about it.

Tastes like it was brewed with pepsi. I would say it is a $6 drain pour, but I am going to make myself drink the half that is in my glass.
Here is me playing on a rock wall earlier. Stupid videos still wont upload in slo motion (which is why I was there) You will still get the just of it.

And here is the result. Managed to slice open the bottom of my foot in 3 places.
