holy crap, this is phenomenal. This exceeded my expectations ten fold.

 

Reviews:

This was really tasty. Aromas and flavors of caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger and some herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal spice bitterness on the finish; with a very smooth finish with moderate wheat creaminess in the mouthfeel. Good robust flavors as well. Really enjoyed this; nothing too complex, just a straightforward wheat christmas beer with balanced malt and spices. Good stuff.


Damn nice Berliner weisse. Aromas and flavors of tart lemon, green apple, pear, white grape, hay, straw, grass, white vinegar, wheat, cracker, and light funk; with some yeasty earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/acidic tartness with an excellent malt/tartness balance even with the lighter malt presence. Smooth and crisp finish; fairly dry but not too dry. Light-moderate acidity in the mouthfeel. Good overall robustness of flavors as well. Spot on well balanced Berliner Weisse. I'll definitely be raiding some singles shelves in the future when my locals break these variety packs up. Zero complaints.


Very nice Coffee milk stout. Aromas and flavors of dark roasted coffee, chocolate, cocoa, toast, dark bread, caramel, brown sugar, cream, and light nuttiness; with some light-moderate herbal hop notes with fruity/earthy yeast. Light herbal hop and roast bitterness on the finish; with overall good balance of malt/coffee bitterness/sweetness. Light-medium carb and medium bodied; with a smooth and moderately creamy finish. A very tasty English style coffee beer. All around well balanced flavors with noticeable but not overdone English yeast character. Very enjoyable.

Having an Impaler while shaking my head at the Stanley Cup. If Tampa had won it, the cup would've passed through my city. A friend was insistent that he knew people that could get us in a position where we could run a beer through it! Don't know how likely that really was, but, man, it would've been fun.

 

Now to celebrate the Blackhawks Stanley Cup with a 2013 (last time they won) BCBS.
