Allagash Coolship Resurgam Gueuze
I love this beer, cheers!
Had a lot of fun last weekend driving around the Belgian countryside from Germany to Westvleteren down to Chimay. I wish I had more time, I would have tried to hit Orval and the area around Rochefort as well. Enjoying the spoils tonight...
A 5 yr old Guinness Draught can. No picture as it was a test that failed miserably.
It has been a frustrating day due to car trouble yet again. So why not relax with a German beer?
On the line-up tonight: Hopslam, New Belgium's Chocolate Coffee Imperial Stout, New Albion Ale, Sam Adams Maple Pecan Porter, and Odell's Lugene Milk Stout.
Ft Lauderdale...about a mile from Elbow Room.
Lake Placid Ubu Ale is pulling the chill from my bones quite nicely. I'm happy to have run across it today at ye local packy; I've only ever had it on draft before.
And here's a question that deserves answering:
Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale. Very nice.
Ah, there's your problem!! Dude, you should just change that rule to "I will always have a drink before I go to court"
Starting my Friday off simple. STONE IPA
Wasn't expecting this to be hoppy, but it is a nice hopped red. Pleased that I gave it a try!
I hope someone is there to pick up that package I sent you.......it arrived today.
La Chouffe from d'Achouffe. I'm in Germany on business right now, but I saw a shop with Belgians and was easily swayed away from German beer. I'l go for passion and art over technical perfection every time when it comes to beer.
It's one thing when the clients show up drunk. It is a whole other see of problems when the attorney shows up drunk.
Too funny... I just took this picture about 5 mins before I saw your post. Warming up after a long, cold day of field work with some Sucks and cheddar. Cheers. Enjoy the weekend BAs.
Bell's Expedition 12/27/12 and Jeopardy. Lazy Friday afternoon. Cheers!
Just drinking some rooibos & green tea right now because I'm getting into some work, but I'll be having some Backwoods Bastard with my roommate in another hour or so. Gotta get some reading done first, though . . .
Excited to share a bomber of Capital Brewery's Jacked Maibock tonight with a good buddy of mine... in preparation for the breweries Bockfest in a month!
Nice! I was in that neighborhood today. But I was working ya bum!
quenching my thirst with this to start...
I ordered in pizza, so I'll probably have 1 or 2 more Colt 45's to wash it down and then it's whatever "calls me" when I open the beer vault.
So I found this one hiding at my local bottle shop and thought, I love this beer WTH? "Drink by Nov. 22"
Still pretty good, but the hops have really faded.
I'm interested to know how it tastes. LMK!
Getting ready to start with some Lagunitas Sucks and move on to some Hopslam. Or maybe the other way around!
Drinking Darkness with cofeeguru at work to cap off the week!
Sam Adams Irish Red, with some Schlitz 60's tallboys on deck.
palate wrecker to start
Hop Stoopid. Quite the tastey treat.
Starting the day with last standing soldier from this six pack.
Making a guest appearance are my phone, my hands, and a box of Ritz.
Let it snow . . .
Reminds me that I need to ride my bike more. D'oh!
Just finished a conversation with my wife about how terrific Friday nights can be. Despite not having a drop of energy for anything now except to lift beers and read, I'm sure nothing beats a night when there are no worries about tomorrow. Had a Diabolical IPA earlier, now this:
First week of Student Teaching is in the books! For all you teachers out there, mad props for doing this week in and week out. It is HARD to motivate younger kids to even behave, let alone excel in a classroom. Exhausted from just a few days of it.
First treat of tonight. Many more to come after this insane week.
Was able to land another bottle of this today and damn it lives up to the hype! I'm getting sick like everyone else so hopefully this makes me feel better
