After visiting that whole foods on your recommendation, I think I officially hate you (in the nicest way possible). My beer envy wouldn't be so bad if I didn't get to experience the awesomeness of that store firsthand.

BCBS Cherry Rye to start the evening, then something more sessionable to forget the day/week..... Some Local 1 perhaps. I suppose i will ponder that while sipping the BCBS

Good evening BAs! Picked up this new offering from Bell's. Am I smitten over it? No, but it's refreshing and tasty just the same. Goes down real easy too.

This guy (gal?) was in my yard for a good hour scoping the bird feeder for lunch. It's funny because all the birds high tailed (winged?) it out of there while it was there so no lunch today. Beautiful bird. I was honored to have it in my yard. I think it's a sharp-shinned hawk. Cheers all!

Now onto a Full Sail Session lager. I dig the stubby. and I dig the crisp clean taste. I do NOT like the 11.2 oz serving size however. Gimme rounded off ounces, or Gimme Death! (gawd I love Patrick Henry).

Disclaimer: I am fairly new to trying to be a serious BA, and have never attempted a half-and-half pour. Could someone tell me if they have experience, will this pair layer? If not, it's still pretty tasty as far as I'm concerned.

Evening BA. Started with this and a tacos for dinner.

Now I'm finishing my first one of these.

I think the T IPA edges out Sucks for me. Both are great beers, and I will be very happy if Sucks is indeed year round. Thinking of moving onto a stout next on this snowy night. I may crack open the bottle of Dark Intrigue that I've been holding. Cheers BA.

[IMG] Need someone to talk me through how to post a pic here. Got a sweet line up of Bells:
This One Goes To 11, Expedition Stout, Third Coast Old Ale, Hopslam, & Black Note.
    Gonna be a good night!

I actually love that beer. Had Smitten on tap a few months ago at a Bell's tap takeover, but it was only referred to as Golden Rye Ale as they hadn't named it yet. Easily my favorite beer of the night.

I like it just fine solo, but figured that since I was interested, I may as well make my first half and half something special. It should be noted that as much as I like the Hopslam, I'm a little in love with Brooklyn BCS right now....really been hitting the spot.

don't take it too serious, have fun with it! i'm not a seperation expert but i think you have to slowly pour over the back of a spoon or something of the like to get it to slowly fill the glass while remaining seperated.
