Took me about four 2.0's to realize it's still a really bitter beer. At first, the bitterness didn't not seem overwhelming, but as kept going the bitterness came shinning through. Still prefer it to OG Ruination.
Its shitty music night on the BA forums!! Speaking of shitty music:

    CHEERS BA!

    Finishers:

Great witbier, last of my GLBC spring mixer. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, banana, clove, coriander, wheat, bread and herbal/grassy spice and yeast earthiness. Great balanced yeast/malt/spice flavors; good robustness. Always excellent. Hope they bring it back next year again.

Always love a classic C hopped IPA. Bright flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine; with light-moderate caramel/toasted malt balance. Crisp and sticky hop finish with light creaminess in the mouthfeel. Just passed the 3 month mark but still tasting crisp and juicy on hops. New 6 pack will eventually be in my fridge IPA rotation. Actually found out that giving this one a couple months to let the bottle conditioning fully attenuate makes it feel much crisper and sticky on hop flavors; vs a super fresh bottling.

Just got a fresh 6 pack this week, my go-to milk stout; and recently discovered I like the non-nitro version more now. Big robust and balance flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toast, dark bread, cream, and light-moderate herbal hops. Balanced roast/herbal bitter finish; big robust malt flavors with noticeable Munich malt complexity. So damn delicious.

Great imperial English brown ale. Huge robust flavors of maple, molasses, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toast, dark bread, raisin, plum, and light nuttiness; with moderate herbal/spicy English hop bitterness with some roast bitterness present as well. Great overall complexity and balance between malt, hops, and yeast fruitiness. Smooth, creamy and lightly sticky mouthfeel. Definitely glad I picked up a full 4 pack of this after reviewing a single, will definitely buy more if I see it lingering on the shelf around here.

Damn BA's....en fuego tonight in both quantity and quality of posts...most eclectic and prolific

Duly motivated by inundation of posts on this offering (received tonight as an anniversary gift--along with 3 other fine bombers that will appear on site in the days to come)...and after ripping through a Firestone Walker Double Jack and BP Sculpin at anniversary dinner tonight)....keeping it "light"

musical selections on site have been off the charts wacky across the spectrum... and inspiring and memory-inducing (hell, took my oldest daughter, now 22, to see the Backstreet Boys when she was 8...good stuff in terms of time shared)...:grinning:

however, duly motivated by @Rootscipio ...as he recovers, vicarious sounds to flow (to compliment his unannounced photobomb...

Different vibe and energy on site tonight...all good....on a Monday no less...

    LNBA Cheers All....!!!

Not just oak, but bourbon barrels. Speaking as a VA BA, I'm with you 100%, that brew is completely underwhelming.

Oh man, you LNBA-ers should NOT have given me a window to post crap music on here tonight. Without further ado:

Totally forgot Billy Zane was in that movie...
