Did you take a cruise or fly?
I took a cruise a few years ago, and it was the worst experience of my life. Maybe that was because I was with my (now) ex-wife.

Out for lunch with my wife at When Pigs Fly. She had Hell or High Watermelon (left) and I had one of my all-time favorites, Allagash Curieux.

After lunch, and before grocery shopping, we stopped at Misto. My wife had a martini, California Dreaming, and I had Tributary Pale Ale. A beautiful day outdoors!

Hey again BA's! Just past 2:30 here in sunny NOVA & I just came back from the bottle shop. Got some more goodies for my 'weekend' & maybe even something cool for the next NBS. We'll see if I can wait that long :-) Pretty darn good day so far. Just cracked open one of these guys:

Off Color just can't seem to brew bad beer. Great brew for the weather here today!

Feelin' goofy music-wise, so I've got a couple in mind:

Calvin Johnson is a national treasure.

Alright, I should really start doing some things around the house before the GF gets home :-)
See you folks in a bit...until then & as always- Drink up & drink on, my fellow advocates!

Regardless of the name (which truthfully could be much better) the beer is phenomenal!

Didn't plan on having any other beers before vacation after my Jackhammer on Sunday, but I had the Alien Einstein a little while ago, and am drinking the Alberta Clipper right now. Alien Einstein was my first gluten "friendly" beer, and I thought it was really nice. As with most Short's APA's or IPA's (in this case IPL), it offers a pretty big hop flavor and bitterness. The Alberta Clipper is perfect for those who enjoy fruit in their beers, but not beers that taste like half fruit juice and half beer. Pleasant raspberry flavor with some tartness and a touch of sweetness to boot.

I'll be going to Vegas tomorrow morning and driving to Seattle on Monday, so hopefully I stumble upon some tasty beers on my way up. Happy Thursday WBAYDN? BAers, and I'll (unfortunately for many of you) actually be back July 10th-ish. :grinning:

    Cheers!

I usually pass on this brew, but the label redesign kinda suckered me in. Actually forgot how much I enjoy this stuff, it's a solid little VA Hefe.

    Cheers!

Midweek seemed a good time to unclutter the refrigerator by having a few strays or leftovers. Drinking a DFH 90 right now. Next up will be a Founders Curmudgeon.

    Happy Midweek BAs
