    Going to join @utopiajane in some planetary travel today. I'm getting a bit more dark roast coming out now, as opposed to a couple of weeks ago when the hops were in your face. Either way a great beer.

    Up in the IE so I stopped by morebeer's show room for some gadgets and ingredients, too damn hot to leave fresh milled grains in the car, for this weekend's brew day. Thought since I am up here I should stop by Hangar 24. Sure glad I did. Had a double Betty ipa and this beauty, hammerhead aged in rye whiskey barrels. It's fantastic!

    I drive 3.5 hours to Syracuse (crossing the border) semi-regularly just to get their ribs and pulled pork. Love that place.

    Love the view, as it's close to where I grew up. Haven't been back to the IE in a looong time. Glad the craft scene is alive and well in the IE; it was wineries and not beer when I was a kid.
