What beer are you drinking now? #981

Finishing off the last of my Dinner. Moving on to some 2013 BC Coffee to wrap up the night.

 

Spent part of the day at Son #2's baseball game, the All Star Game no doubt - he worked hard on his technique and has a wicked curve ball and lots of heat on the fast balls, pitched one inning and struck out two, really proud of him!



Back home with some local lovin' that never disappoints, and need to help Son #1 with his Eagle project tonight (man, these kids are wearin' me out! )!

 

Just got done cleaning my two year olds poop out of the bathtub. I think I earned this.

 

Yes, they've been acting as though they are starving and that it is normal to get fed 8x a day! Soccer players have nothing on these cats in the faking department!

 

Not a new beer but rather tha last of this four pack.

Between this and Wolf Among Weeds, Golden Road puts out some great beer!

 

Um, yeah, this is good.

After spending the day drinking Solar Abyss and Double Duckpin, I'm changing gears and I've been sipping on this stout from Clown Shoes. I've passed by this before, but finally picked up a single.
Honestly, while I've enjoyed the other Clown Shoes offerings, I always thought this was some sort of euphemism for some sort of deviant sexual act - like the Dirty Sanchez. Chocolate Sombrero just sounds like its something you pay for?



Anyway, it looks like Urban Dictionary says that its no big deal. So, I'll just go ahead and drink it.
Pretty good, but now I'm going to have to figure out what a Chocolate Sombrero would be.

 

Fair enough. However, I could see him having a Hulk/Kool-Aid Man moment and doing something like this:

 

My favorite Barleywine.

 

Finishing up tonight with a local favorite that is now available in 12 oz bottles!

 

Ok...I just caught up with seven pages of NBS and am 7/9 of my way through here...before the beer runs out I am drinking Century Ale from Allagash. It is a Brett saison that I am liking quite a bit, but would like to try a freshie since mine was bottled in February. More detail on NBS, but consider the source...

My 2nd Ruination 2.0, this one IMO is a bit special. It's a great beer and kills the original IMO. Really quite impressed and I'm an IPA snob.

 

#3, saving the best (and biggest) for last. What a great beverage. Have a great Sunday evening, BA's.

 

I never really understood what "motor oil" or thick mouthfeel meant...then I had this beer tonight. Unreal, damn near perfection and I actually prefer this to KBS. World class doesn't need to be hard to find
