    I'm not technically drinking this now, but this is the first chance I've had to share this one. This is from Sunday evening, where I was backpacking with my daughter on the Chain Lakes Loop trail in the beautiful Mount Baker Wilderness Area, here in Washington State up near the Canadian border. The lake (where we camped) is at 4800 feet, and Mazama Dome (5800 feet) is pictured in the background. Naturally, the beer is lake-chilled. Pack it in, pack it out. Cheers!

    This was my first time trying a Modern Times beer and I really liked it! Coffee stouts are one of my favorites anyway, but this one is very good. It's kind of light so it's actually a perfect summer stout.

    Yum.

    Seems like this beer precipitates sediments much faster than any of the other Sierra Nevada beers. Anyone else noticed that? I know they're not all bottle conditioned now, but I wonder what it is about the Pale Ale that does it.

    Just finished boxing up a trade for a fellow BA Drinking nice but other bottle will cellar for awhile as I think a little time will mellow the 13% taste. [​IMG]
