First off, I'd like to apologize if this post belongs elsewhere...that being said, a few months back I was in Portland at Novare Res Bier. I asked the bartender for a good recommendation and he asked if I liked "sour diesel". I naturally said yes and he poured me a glass of a British ale and I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. I know if I saw that name again it would click so I was hoping someone could refresh my memory. Thanks and once again sorry if this should be posted elsewhere! Cheers!
"old engine oil" by harviestoun? Old ale from scotland... I've seen it recommended at Novare a few times. Not British though - so I'll keep thinking on it
People from Scotland are British and Scottish.... People from England are also British, but they are English . So you may actually be right about the beer!
Halcyon by Thornbridge. After reading some reviews I may have to try it again to see...it was a late night. Anyways thanks for the help, gang!
