An important beer for them, but just for clarity, I didn't mean to imply that it was in specific danger of being discontinued. It might be a strong seller for them.

A week ago I would have said Stoudt's Fat Dog, but I bought some last weekend. So now I guess it's Iron Hill Pig Iron Porter. One of the best porters in the area but I somehow have neglected it for years.

Just about any NG Thumbprint beer; Cranbic, Apple, Ode Bruin, Scream. Some of the best beers I've ever had.

Founders Porter. It is an excellent beer.
    Brooklyn. Black Chocolate Stout
I also need to pick up and drink a Samuel Smith Winter Welcome. I have passed on it the last couple of years I used to love it.

Bud select 55. I found the beer to be light, watery, bland and insipid. Not sure what I was thinking. I'm fairly certain this beer is far worse than that. Clearly I had a brain fuge, as there's no way this beer is nearly as good as that.

La Folie. I reguarly bring it up as one of the beers that got me into craft, and yet I don't think I've had the last two or three editions. It's on shelves now, and I still haven't bought one.

Atwater's Vanilla Java Porter. It was my gateway to craft beer. I was in college. I enjoyed Natty Light in those days, so VJP was revelation!

I see it isn't rated highly these days. Maybe it's just an indication of how far craft beer has come. Or that most beers are a step up from Natty.. probably that!

Too many to list. Most of those I cannot access where I live now, but could before when I was a transient douche bag.

Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout for me, too. I've missed it for at least two years, maybe three. I'm not sure I saw it in my town last year, but I'm finding some this year.

Oskar's Blues Old Chub is on my list of need to revisit. Saint Arnold Elissa. Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Stone IPA. Rahr & Sons' Ugly Pug. Anchor Steam. There's a bunch, but I'll get to them. I usually knock off one need-to-revisit beer every month or so.

Two Hearted for me. That beer is in most bars here in Michigan, plus I visit Bell's Eccentric Cafe 6-8 times each year, so I know that I can have it anytime. But there is always something on the tap list that I'm more curious about (even at Bell's), thus I don't often order the Two Hearted.

I'm feeling the same way about revisiting hoppy beers. Rhinegeist Truth cones to mind as an IPA I used to drink a lot of that I'd like to try again.

Gouden Carolus Tripel is sounding good and one I haven’t had in a few years. Other than that, Im waiting for Rheingold Extra Dry in the chugalug bottles to be resurrected.

I feel like I need to start drinking more old school pale ales, like Great Lakes Burning River.

It's everywhere, it's a classic, I've always enjoyed it, yet I haven't had it in quite a long time.
