It used to be any central waters brewers reserve, but now I'd have to say anything from revolution. Anti Hero is an amazing IPA, Eugene is a solid porter. But most of all their barrel program may be young but is very good.

Those Barleywines are better then most the BW whales out there.

Don't tell anyone, i want them all to myself.

I feel like this years straight jacket was a little rushed. In 6 months it's going to be a fantastic brew. 3rd year is insane if you love a sweet barley/wheat wine. If your talking about the CW BBW the are insanely good, better than BA Bigfoot in my opinion.

Pretty sure the word is out about Central Waters BBBW, at least in the Midwest. :grinning:

I thought from what I had at the grand opening party was better much more balanced. The heat from the barrel faded a little better than this batch.

Ya I used to be able to actually get that beer.... Now apparently every other market except La Crosse gets it, so alas I have one 4 pack of CW BBBW from last year to hold me over to an entire year:slight_frown:

Anything Hops & Grain puts on draft-only release from their Greenhouse series. Horchata Milk Stout, much?

I also had their Belgian porter yesterday and DAMN was that good.

Try 'em if you ever get up to Austin (I don't think they actually distribute any special releases outside of their brewpub and a handful of bars in town).

haha came here to say this, nice avatar. If it's not the best pale ale on the market (that isn't actually an IPA) than it's damn close. And for the price, it's the best beer for the money no contest. Very unique and refreshing, love the use of Nelson Sauvin hops, this beer is just perfect. I also buy by the case. My only complaint is that they didn't keep the old labels(your avatar picture).

I love that you are repping LI, but to be honest those 2 beers are the poster child for "average beers".

Sleeper beer that local people know about, but nobody else does is Columbus IPA. What a fantastic beer that I only wish would get distributed more widely.

    Almost anything from Sixpoint.

I discovered them back in September and had the opportunity to go to a tasting last night. Everything I have had from them is fantastic and no one ever talks about them.
