Dixie's Blackened Voodoo. I was nlegal to buy at that point, but my dad drank a sucession of failry cheap beers up to that point - Brador, then Red Dog and the like. A friend of my folks who owned a store that got "weird" stuff brought some down one time. I had tried that cheap stuffof my dads and didn't like it, but this one was different. First the label was so different and cool-looking, then actually trying it...
When I finally did turn 21, one of the first 6-packs I bought was that Blackened Voodoo.

Founders Breakfast Stout - no doubt.....before that, Newcastle Brown Ale was what i considered an amazing discovery from the usual fizzy yellow drink

    Summit Extra Pale Ale

After drinking BMC for most of my late teens and early 20's, this beer had flavor and I was blown away at the time.

Same here. The SN Pale Ale. My son brought a 6er over to the house in 2009 and it was all over for Bud after that.

I tried an Arrogant Bastard for the first time because it looked cool and I couldn't finish it, I ended up pouring half of it down the sink. But I didn't give up, I went to the yardhouse a short time later and I saw the name "Sublimely Self-Righteous" I figured that name is cool. Ordered it and since then I couldn't look at bud light or any other yellow fizzy beer again.

My father's beer. He's been brewing for at least 12-13 years and when I was a teenager he would give me small amounts at special gatherings like Christmas. Before I would drink Busch with my friends and wonder after drinking regularly for a year why I would still gag every time I drank. At 17 my boyfriend would buy Wasatch which I thought was a real step up from other store bought beers I had drank, and it just went from there. My father's homebrew will always be the root of my passion for beer.

Sam Adams Summer Ale or Guinness ... I didn't ever drink a full beer until I was 21 years and 3 months old. I found it gross (all I had tasted were AAL's).

First craft brews I can remember were Boulevard beers, but it wasn't until I had a Half Acre Daisy Cutter while in Philly that the obsession took hold

I grew up less than 10 minutes from where Firestone moved to(and still is) so I caught the craft beer bug from DBA. Still a favorite of mine after all these years.

Flying Dog variety pack peaked my interest - really like the In Heat Wheat - than my interest were solidified by trying some of New Belgium's first stuff in Iowa (Fat Tire, Wit), then Unibroue and I was in.
