    Not Your Father's Root Beer 19.5%. Crazy good and it sneaks up on you FAST.

    That bomber of Bozo sure did the trick, too.

    While I've had beers of a higher ABV, the Barrel-Aged Narwhal rocked me on Thanksgiving this year.

    I have a pretty high tolerance for alcohol in beer (not hard liquor though) but it always seems like when I drink Orval it has about twice the ABV in it.

    32%? Good grief. Like drinking whiskey, scotch, or bourbon. It is definitely not in New Hampshire.

    Any malt liquor 40 knocks me out. And on the rare occasions that I buy them I usually drink the whole 40.

    Honestly, it's Heady Topper. I distinctly remember standing in line for the first time at Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier, VT. The guy in front of me, who coincidentally, looked like the guy on the HT can said: "Have you had this before? It's a head-knocker." I dismissed his words, as I had consumed many of the IPA variety exceeding an 8% abv. Needless to say, as much as I love this beer and as freaking stellar as it is, it "knocks" my "head" every time. Two in one session is enough. This is coming from the same guy who may or may not have consumed 6 Hop Ranch's (9% abv) during last year's NFL playoffs. I'll never tell.
