What beer kicks your BUTT?

BA Boris caught me off guard. And of Avery's The Beast.

First time I had Uncle Jacob's was fresh, so I knew it was going to light me up. Put a year on it and suddenly is as smooth as can be.

 

I had a bottle of DFH Fort a few years back. I had no plans on a Friday after work and figured I'd be able to handle it if I took my time. It took me 2-3 hours to finish it, and to this day nothing has hit me quite so hard; even some of the bigger Avery or Bruery beers. I was feeling pretty damn good that night. I'm not a fruity beer fan, and even less a fan of raspberry, but I really enjoyed that stuff. I'd tackle it again.

Beers that have lots of booze and are served in a large container.

 

Undercover shut down is coming out soon and I never can wait for it. I would have mentioned it but it's not available and out of sight out of my terrible memory. I am surprised to, its in my top twenty favorite beers.

 

I'm bummed can't find hi res but know about its crispness jacked up into 11% hop bomb.

 

Didn't see or read about Stones Enjoy By at 9.4% It is very fresh and boozy.

 

Not Your Farther's Root Beer , draft version. Had a couple during my Chicago visit and they went down way too fast. If I hadn't seen them pour it I would have sworn it was plain root beer.

 

Every time I cap off my night with a Great Lakes Blackout Stout, I wake up the next morning feeling like I blacked out the night before. It's a deceptive 9% ABV stout.

 

Lagunitas Sucks! Can't stop slammin that 32 oz bottle like a 12 oz. Two biggees and things get weird...

Black Tuesday in general.

But 2014 Pugachev's Cobra kicked my ass on NYE, 2014 is 18.9% and I didn't open it until 1am after I was already doing pretty damned well. 6 oz of it killed the rest of my night.

 

I usually end up sleeping on the cool, tile floor of my bathroom at least once during Hopslam season... Not sure what it is about it, but I always get more effed up off of that than any other beer like it.

 

For some reason Delirium Tremens has always hit me super hard. I think its cause its so damn drinkable. Goes down way too fast for the ABV. Another one that gets me is COAST Boy King, insanely drinkable and that bomber of close to 10% is gone in no time at all.

Some of the big Bruery beers as well; a 750ml of a 19%'er puts me in a good place.

 

Grey Monday is an animal.

 

This one drinks way too easy,then punches you right in the brain.
