What beer kicks your BUTT?

    Parabola is dangerously drinkable but I've not had a beer kick my ads with high abv as of yet but I'm gonna be sampling Utopia probably Friday so I'll let you know and I drank FW 18 and felt fine

    Has never been the case of any particular one (Clown Shoes Undead was close...BA Narwahl another)

    Usually...it is the accumulation of fine brew...the taste grabs me and I am off to the races at times....

    My tolerance gets built up...so the quaffing quantity increases proportionately...at times

    but I need thick Imperial Stouts/IPA's....need ABV% over 9...for taste predominantly...impact secondarily

    usually 4-5 a night...on weekends only....usually resulting in serious nappage on couch....all good....

    The last thing I remember on NYE was drinking an Evil Twin 'Love You With My Stout'. That got right on top of me.

    Also Dragon's Milk.... goes down so nice and way too fast.

    Double IPA's in cans F me up. Probably because they go down so easily and taste so good.

    Central Waters Barrel Aged Barleywine. Even with a year to mellow the bottles I have are hot, big and boozy. A game over nightcap.

    Just had a Captain Lawrence Seeking Alpha the other night. That was dangerous at 11%.

    Also, Trillium's Heavy Mettle at 9%+ is so drinkable it could kill someone.

    Right on...my family has some stocked every Christmas and someone always becomes "that person" after the second.
    It's always tasty and always festive, but strong in a sneaky way.

    Any great fresh DIPA. I drink the first one too fast (If thats a thing) and then half way thru the second realize my fate.

    This is often my problem as well. This past Saturday I did Founders Imperial Stout -> Ten Fidy -> SN Narwhal.

    I drank them way too fast :grinning:,
    but I was really into it at the time :sunglasses:.
    Snuck up on me :confused:....
    I sometimes forget there's alcohol in these beers. :grimacing:

    I second (third?) the nomination of the Bruery beers. Tried Black Tuesday and Mocha Wednesday. Both on separate days -- both split with a couple of friends. Wowza.....!
