Fresh Squeezed and Edmund Fitzgerald. So accessible and so good.
Dales Pale Ale
Rochefort 10. How many years have they been brewing this?
Victory at Sea
Grapefruit Sculpin and Willoughby Peanut Butter Cup Coffee Porter. Have had both many, many times, both are in my personal top 10, and not once have I ever had one and wondered if it was worthy of my top 10. I cannot say these things about any other beers.
Black Butte Porter
Heh, came here to say this!
in terms of always accessible: ten fidy
seasonal that's easily accessible: dogfish punkin ale, Brooklyn summer ale, victory at sea
Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale
Whatever IPA or DIPA I have on hand. Lagunitas IPA, Sculpin, Two
Hearted, Sucks, Snake Handler, Resin
Victory At Sea!
My "go to" and one that will never let me down are different. Prairie Bomb will never let me down...but it's also hard as hell to get in Chico CA. So because of that, my go to is Fresh Squeezed when it's warm outside, and Velvet Merlin when it's not.
Columbus Brewing Company Bodhi, every damn time
CCB Tocobaga. Perfectly refreshing every time. It may be because its never around long enough to sit though.
Easy to find
Fairly priced(even for founders)
Cycle Brewing - Rare DOS
Cigar City Brewing - Big Sound BA
Angry Chair Brewing - German Chpcolate Cupcake Stout
Bruery - Sucre / Bois
Goose Island - Bourbon County Stout
Anything from Vindication. Yeah, I'm a homer
Duvel, Bell's 2HA in a can, Ten Fidy
Alpha King and Zombie Dust. I usually have one or the other in the fridge at all times.
Founders Breakfast Stout - The wife and I go through a couple cases each year.
Ballast Point Sculpin or Deschutes Freshly Squeezed
I don't know if I would call them go to's, but I've never been mad that I drank a Sucks or Alpha King.
For local never let me down beers I would say NG Staghorn, Black Top, Scream and Snowshoe are on the list, along with Lake Louie Bunny Green Toe IPA and Warped Speed Scotch Ale and Karben 4 Fantasy Factory IPA.
I've never been let down by a fresh Two Hearted. Beautiful stuff.
Grapefruit Sculpin and Head Hunter IPA.
SNPA, solid beer in any situation
Tank 7. It's a little pricey, but I keep coming back to it.
Founders Porter and Centennial
Bells Two Hearted
Weihenstehpahner and Franzikaner Hefeweizens
Founders Dirty Bastard. My starter beer almost every drinking night.
Two Hearted. I have it every few months and it's amazing how it withstands the test of time...
I scrolled through this thread just to say exactly that. I'll add that it's great in every season. If I'm ever in doubt I'll grab a six of Founders Porter to make sure I bought something tasty. Oh and you can find it anywhere, even in places with one fluorescent light bulb half burned out and a craft selection of three varieties in far corner where the cashier looks at you like an alien for spending 10 bucks on some funny lookin' six pack.
Victory at Sea. Now that it comes in 6 packs for under 15 bucks, I seem to be picking it up more often than not when I enter the local store.
these always deliver when I need them to.
