Wisconsin is Miller Lite, its everywhere!
Minnesota-Grain Belt Premium, Mich Golden Light, or Busch Light Silo cans
Illinois- Budweiser or Old Style. You can thank the Cubs for this one.

    For Florida, it’s gotta be:
    Jai Alai - Cigar City
    Miami Madness - J. Wakefield
Maple Bacon Coffee Porter - Funky Buddha
Big Rod Coconut Ale - Miami Brewing

Goose Island. Used to be pretty great until a bunch of rich, selfish guys who don't know what they're doing came along...

I do like Mexican Cake, but my real favorite from South Carolina is Sungazer from Charlestown Fermantory and would nominate this one as best state representative.

Agree that Westbrook is what I consider brewery that represents SC to me. I have always felt One Claw best represented them with my beloved Cake a close second.

    No Gose for me either!

Since PA has 229 mile of the Appalachian National Trail, I would vote for :

Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale as Pennsylvania's State Beer.

For the great state of Kentucky and my current home, I'd say either West 6th IPA or ATG Bo & Luke

For my former home of Hawaii, I'd say Maui Coco Porter or Big Island Brewhaus Overboard IPA

For Ohio, the state that raised me, Fatheads Head Hunter or Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald

Agreed with Upland Wheat...it used to be the go-to everywhere in the state.

I think the ONLY option for a Kentucky beer in this thread should be something that is bourbon barrel-aged (as long as it's not Alltech's Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, which I don't think is good enough for the honor).

    Boulevard's Wheat.

Simple, clean, and classic. It's tried and true, and hasn't deviated much over the years. Fits the lifestyle of many around here.

I go back and forth between SN Pale Ale and Pliny. Pliny is like the Gold Rush where everyone came to find it (try it). SN Pale Ale is the innovative and green who will give the middle finger to the establishment and don't care about looks. Taste and quality is what counts.

Not to bash kentucky, I'm sure it's nice... but my condolences on leaving Hawaii for Kentucky man. I've never been to Hawaii, but I don't know if I could come back from that. By the way, tried gl ed Fitzgerald today, good stuff.

I would agree with Upland Wheat 10 years ago but I'd say Zombie Dust these days. Dark Lord on a more limited level.
