Had a case of 90 minute and Burton baton. Left 2 four packs of each in the basement and forgot they were there. I liked the 90 with time on it. The Burton is great. Still have 4 left.

    Enjoy

Olde Hickory Event Horizon. I plan on never opening it. Not the oldest in there, but the first; & a milestone for my entry into the depths of the beer world.

2003 Ommegang Three Philosophers (drank it in 2010 and it is still the best beer I've ever had) and 2004 Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock (bought a case and have one left).

Hands down... Abyss 2010. I remember driving all around Austin while there for a convention to land some bottles. Still have a few, too.

2008 Abyss for me (which the brewery essentially cellared for me until 2013), went full tilt after I opened it up this summer and realized I needed to get/have/enjoy more.

St Bernardus, from Feb 2011 I believe. I too still have it. Also have about 250 other bottles now as well :-/

I'm fairly sure 2007 Abyss was what started it for me. Held onto the last of the ones I bought until 2011 for a 5 year vertical. (Since then I've traded for another 07 and an 06, which I'll open in 2015 for a 10 year vert!)

DFH 120. Did not care for it at all when I initially got into craft. At the time 90 minute was my favorite beer, so I bought two bottles of the 120 and still remember my sticker shock when it got rang up at $20 for the two 12 ouncers. I didn't care for it at all when we opened the first so the other went into my wine cooler where it sat for a bit with the wine, then I discovered this website and the trading forum and that original 120 now has lots of friends to keep him company. That wine cooler is now almost exclusively beer.

My cellar started today actually. Just picked up a 6 Pack of Bell's Expedition Stout bottled on 9/25/13. Put 1 in the fridge and the other 5 in the basement.

Starting off small. I'll be picking up Founders Imperial Stout in a couple weeks and Dark Horse Plead the 5th in February. That may be all I put in the cellar (I guess I can't call it that yet until it grows a little) until next year. We'll see how it goes.

A 750 ml bottle of Victory V-12 that I didn't want to drink by myself. I still have it, and so much more. On a side note, I am not a hoarder; I just don't drink it as fast as I accumulate it. It's all fair game at tastings.

Darkness was mine too, but didn't start saving any until 2011.

A case of Dogfish 90 min. in 2008. Turned out to be a great barleywine over the years. I finished the last one this year.

Old Rasputin XI. Gift from my father that I cellared for a year and then opened with him. It was all downhill from there...

Captain Lawrence Nor'Easter, several years ago. I was lucky enough to be dragged to the release. I grabbed a case and nursed it for about 5 years.

    That, and Ithaca Brute.
