I'm going to be very selective this Autumn and only drink the beers that I can get my hands on. More malts and brown ales but it's going to be mixed with some IPA's too.

Finish off my IPA stash, then buy pumpkin, oktoberfest and other "fall" specialties. Then keep going...

Bought a case of FBS (notice how wife's eyebrow raises:astonished: ), picked up many Oktoberfest beers, the better of which I've found are Big Eddy's and Lefthand. Will drink plenty of Dragons Milk. Snowdrift Vanilla Porter will be back soon. Looking forward to any Bourbon County I can get my hands on. Cheers.

Hands down, it'll be Founders Breakfast Stout...one of my all-time favorites! Once Backwoods Bastard and Celebration come out, those will be added to the list as well.

I'm not a fan of the pumpkins but if you can get your hands on a St Arnold Pumpkinator I would.

I don't discrimate based on season so this fall I'll be drinking "Best Available."

I look forward to Heavy Seas Greater Pumpkin in the fall and Barley wines and Scotch ales once December hits.

Smuttynose Durty Mud Season Hoppy Brown ale.
(wording not necessarily in that order)

I found it last chill-season, fell in *love*, then couldn't find it again. IT'S BEEN A LONG WAIT.

    EDIT:
Seems it's a Spring release -- given that "mud season" indicates a thaw -- but I could've sworn I bought it during wintertime. Then forgot where I'd purchased it, checked the usual places and not seeing it assumed it was a winter-brown limited.

IPAs are year round for me, though I will cut back.

After trying lots of pumpkin beers, I'm going to grab some Harpoon UFO Pumpkin, which is great stuff. I've got a stash of stouts and porters that have been waiting for cooler weather, and I've picked up some brown ales. Brown ales are among my favorites at this time of year, especially those with a nutty roasted character. A nice Scotch Ale works well too.

Crown Valley Imperial Pumpkin Smash is quite excellent. BCBS and variants as well.
