Wild blue lager? Unique in horribleness.

As mentioned many times, a lot of DFH's non-regular lineup. Mainly Noble Rot, Fort, Ta Henket(even though I think it's fairly gross), and 120 minute. Also Ghostface Killah is definitely unique

I found it undrinkable, and it's the first thing I thought of when I read the thread...

I'd have to go with the Rogue Voodoo donut beers. Unique, but not good. Would rather just have a voodoo donut and a good beer.

Few beers available on shelves in the U.S. are very similar to Duchesse du Bourgogne

I don't think Stone Dayman Coffee IPA is unique. There are several other coffee IPAs listed, and I personally had a coffee IPA -- that is not listed -- at the Cascade Barrel House in November. I was there to drink sours, and only tried the coffee IPA because of its novelty, but it was my favorite beer of the day. Now I regret not reviewing it.

On the other hand, these seem unique to me, and all were enjoyable:

Me: Have you had Noble Rot?
My bottle shop guy: If I want wine, I'll drink wine
    Me: Hmm...

    Is
Is that a good or bad reference? I found via price point there were many superior sours to choose from.

Very different than any Christmas selection, or porter that I've ever had

Three Floyds "Blot Out the Sun." It's an Imperial Stout that teeters on the verge of being a Black IPA due to it's citrus character. Never had anything like it..... or anything like it that was that friggin good.

I'd also like to call out Hunahpu's on the uniqueness front. Those chiles are to die for!

Yeti. I've never had an imperial stout quite like it.

The Dissident also comes to mind.

Well, that's the point - I think it is unique and not quite proper to say there are superior sours to it because I think it isn't really comparable to most sours. The flavors are less common in this beer and it's easy to recognize in a lineup of blind tasting. I happen to like it.

Did he also say that only real beer is beer brewed under the Reinheitsgebot?
