Still new to the trading community and craft beer world. with that being said, what beers are worth trading for and trying to get on a regular basis. I'm a big fan of IPA's, stouts and sours. just trying to build up a nice cellar of great beers. any input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!!!

Any beer is worth trading for and having if YOU personally want to try it.

Look to the Ohio IPA's, so many great ones and always ultra fresh too, easy to do locals. Head Hunter/ White Rajah/Bodhi DIPA/ Columbus IPA, really terrific stuff, preference to Head Hunter for me. Hop Ju Ju is a revelation when it's available. Much easier than trying to pry anything out of Vt.

Now that Wicked Weed is bottling, NC sours styles are more readily available, and varied. Not everyday shelf stuff will never ever be, but reasonable to trade for now. Not cheap by any means, some $14 500 ml bottles.

just a little beer back ground. I have had Russian river beers, PTE, Blind Pig. Heady Topper and A focal Banger last night, lots of Stone, some Bruery beers and some other that i cant seem to think of right now.

If I were you, I'd pull up the top lists for each of the styles you like and work your way through them. That doesn't necessarily mean they are the "best" but its' likely you'll find ones you like there to build your cellar.

For me, I went after Zombie Dust, Heady Topper and PTE first for IPAs, Bourbon County (as many types as I could find), Dark Lord, KBS, for stouts, and so on. Sure, they are "trendy", but it was worth the hunt. Good luck!
