I wasn't able to find anything about EKU 28 being discontinued? On the other hand, I haven't seen it in stock anywhere in a while - possibly a distribution issue?

Man I see a lot of posts listing Ruthless Rye. Is anyone from SN reading this thread?

Well, if it's no longer available in the last 20 years, I consider it discontinued, even if taken out of context a bit. My bad.

FW DBA is still being made. I see it regularly but don't buy it as I'm not a big fan. It has been a while. I would happily pick up a single if possible to kick the tires again.

Troegs Hop Knife Harvest Ale was pretty solid too. I just looked on Troegs website and it says available brewery only.

No chance of any of these coming back, but I'd like to try some old standouts again:
    1971 Ballantine Ale (Ballantine Newark)
    1971 Stegmaier Porter (Steg.)
1973 Anchor Steam Beer (how close was it to the current version?)
1975 era Augsburger (light and dark, Huber)
    1975 era Andeker (Pabst)
    1980 era McSorley's Ale (Ortlieb)
1980 to 1990 many early craft beers ( Widmer, Pyramid, Newman's, etc)
2000 era Blue Point ESB and Pale Ale

That one was never my thing. They do a lot of neat "Scratch Batches", but I don't have any social media to keep up nor check in to ask.

Even though this thread happens every now and then it is still always fun to answer...for me it is the following:

Sierra - Ruthless Rye (just like OP)
    Victory - Yakima Glory
    Dogfish - Aprihop
Stone - Smoked Porter with Vanilla

I know DFH brought back aprihop as a small release recently sort of like SN did with ruthless...now lets get distro guys, you're big you can afford it.

Looks like Shelton Brothers was responsible for importing/distribution, which would explain the problem...out of curiosity I sent an e-mail to the brewer - will post their response if I hear back.

Allagash Odyssey is one we love and still buy when someone unearths the occasional bottle or two. They might resurrect it some day.

Pretty Things Grampus...but that would mean Dan comes back, opens a new brewery, and starts making a beer he told us was too expensive and too difficult to make.

Stone’s Citracado - or most of Stone’s Limited or Anniversary runs for that matter.
Or I wish I knew what I’ve been missing, sorry for being so ignorant, been living in Japan for the last 3 years, without proper access to real beer…
