Two summers ago I went fishing and just went crazy on Shock Top's Lemon Shandy. I don't care what people think, that beer built a memory.

Otherwise I think Leinenkugel's Canoe Paddler is one of the top choices for a don't-think-just-drink summer quencher. I could go for a more expensive beer, but if I'm doing things outside and enjoying life, I'm not focused on awards. I have all winter and all indoor time to do that stuff

 

Since I can get them fairly easily now, Ninja vs Unicorn and Lizard King will likely make up a majority of my Summer consumption this year.

I've been looking for some new ones this year, last year a ton of Jai Alai was consumed. I tried two this weekend that may be staple from here on out for Florida boat days and our 10 months of summer in general, Sierra Nevada Otra Vez and Avery Liliko'i Kepolo. Both delicious brews that I could drink a ton of here. If I could find more berliner weisse's I'd drink a lot of that to.

 

For me...I love sipping on hefes after a long day of yard work. My personal fave is Live Oak's Hefe... More readily available options for me are Parish's Envie

Mostly I think of IPA's for summer but a good lager isn't a terrible thing either. Like @tigg924 said, Purple Haze is pretty tasty!
Any thing by Sweet Water Brewery is also good with me for hot days and cool evenings!
