I used to drink gin and tonics to stave off malaria. Now I seek out big hoppy IPAs because a drunk in a bar once told me that the hop aromas would confuse the mosquitos. Its BS but but the beer is good.

Corona Light - with a lime straight out of an ice cold cooler.
Sam Adams Summer - I have a soft spot for this beer due to the memories it brings back, it will always mean sumner to me.

I know they are not popular BA beers but they both mean summer to me.

Gose, Gueuze, and IPA's are my favorites in summer.

And sometimes, nothing beats a Narragansett or either a hot or a cool summer afternoon in RI.

Made on honor, sold on merit. Hi Neighbor!

Sierra Nevada's Summerfest and Right Eye's Peach Hefeweizen. I am usually not a fan of fruit beers but this one is pretty darn good.

    Two favorites ...
Victory Brewing - Helios Farmhouse Ale
Six Point - The Crisp (when I can find it)

(Mixed in along with my usual stupid affinity for big and boozy beers.)

Just about any well-made pilsener is a hit with me in warm weather. I prefer the traditional Euro types, especially those below 5%, but a few domestically brewed ones work for me as well, such as Prima, a couple local variations made by Orlison and one by Full Sail that worked for me despite a hop bill more "Yakima-ian" than European.

I also dig some session IPAs (I for one greatly prefer these to insipid blonde ales) and witbiers. Hell, on one occaision, after lugging furniture out of a house from 5AM to 6PM, a Keystone Light with BBQ'd burgers on a 101 degree day hit the spot!

König Pilsener is a great one that comes in cans and is widely distributed.
