Buzzard Bay---tried the mix pack and wondered who actually considers this craft.

I was giving you a hard time. Sorry to make you feel the need to explain yourself. It's perfectly alright for you to dislike (or hate) a brewer's beer, but at the same time, if someone else likes that beer then that's alright too. Saying that nobody has reason to drink their beer or that the brewery sucks just takes things a little too far for me. Regarding something tasting like "beer" or "craft beer," I find that specific distinction a little odd, but looking at Sierra Nevada from a more objective position (regardless of one's taste), if they didn't significantly help create the mold of the "craft brewer" then I don't who did.

Same here with Ballast Point. I was excited when they came here a couple of months ago, but all they have brought is APAs, IPAs, and milk stout. They sold initially, but now just seem to sit. I'm not into APA/IPA at all. I wonder if they won't pull out citing poor sales. I think if they brought some of their other styles here they'd do good, but some damn IPA fan chose the initial beers, and possibly doomed the move by not bringing more variety.

Off the top of my head, two.
Sarnac & Bluepoint. Just haven't had anything from either to impress me-yet.

Honestly, I give Ballast Point a pass also. Not just because they were bought out by Constellation, though that is a factor. No, most of their beers to me are pretty forgettable. The only decent one is Sculpin (not a fan of the variants - grapefruit and habanero in my beers don't work for me,) and I can generally find better IPAs, fresher and cheaper than Sculpin.

There are a lot of other breweries that I pass up also, not because there's anything wrong with them, but there's also most things that I want to try over them. Some of them I later try somewhere, be it at a party or tasting or something, and wonder why I don't get them more often.

Flying Dog. Gimmicky and more often than not, just plain crap. I have tried many of their offerings and can't think of one I couldn't do without.

New Belgium is an obvious one, Two Brothers would be a local one that seems to sell more than i think it ought to.
