Today I asked myself this same question and thought I'd open it up to the forum. Thought at first to ask this question in the general forum but decided to keep it regional. I'm sure, like myself, that a lot of people buy local to their home state but here's the question nonetheless.

My answer is Shorts Brewing - and I do not buy any of their flagship beers. Between their specialty releases every two weeks and their Michigan only/ surprise releases I'm buying more Shorts than anything else. This would include 2016 and 2017 so far as well.

    New Glarus still, probably.

Also in the conversation are Central Waters, Funk Factory (who would surely take first if they had more releases), Off Color, and Baderbrau.

    Solemn Oath, then probably Revolution.

The Old Orders are all really good, along with a lot of things they have on tap. I'm probably there at least once a month.

As a Michigan native, I do not spend time in the Pipeworks distribution footprint without bringing a handful of their beers home - I'd buy a bunch if I lived there. Great beer with easy access. This said my limited exposure to Mikerphone has taught me that I'd seek this stuff out weekly if I were a local.

Over the last two years Founders is on top due to the 15 packs of cans which are nice in the summer. Dark horse and Greenbush tied for second due to a combination of food and beer. Over the last two months it has been all Old Nation with the $$$ going toward cans and howlers of M-43 and Greenstone.

I've noticed that I seem to drink quite a bit of Central State's beers.

Founders also gets a lot of my money.

Probably Goose Island, Founders, 3 Floyds, Pipeworks, and until recently The Bruery.

Toppling Goliath. Florida Sue (while inferior to Decorah Sue) is my go to. And I usually buy the bombers when I see them.

HMs go to Surly, Indeed, and Fulton

In terms of draft beer, probably Noon Whistle or Church Street (although both are bottling/canning now). In terms of packaged beer I'd have to say Two Brothers and maybe Founders.

I'm with you, OP, for Short's being my answer. However, I'm in the Arcadia and Territorial pubs on a regular basis (they are my homers) and paying taproom prices for beer there, so both of them could come close to the top spot too.

Pipeworks > Goose > Half Acre > Ram Schaumburg > Mikerphone > Revolution as far as 2016-present.

2017 will see Ram drop off entirely, Mikerphone likely moving into 3rd.

Probably 3 Floyds if DLD tickets count. It's gotta be Pipeworks if they don't. Mikerphone will move into the top-3 when I can start dropping by the brewery, and Half Acre is moving up with their more frequent cans. Goose Island is in the top-5 somewhere just for BCBS purposes.
