I don't know the exact answer to this question, but I was there within the last couple weeks and overheard a server telling a table of females that she "couldn't legally serve them". I'm assuming it was because one of the girls was not 21.

Is it just you and the kids? If you have someone else you could take them to Jackomo's Upper Crust pizza and when you order walk over to Black Acre fo

21+ only. You could always take the kids to Jackamo's Upper Crust Pizza and walk to Black Acre. If your kids are in that "get away from me dad" period of their life.

Exactly what Walter said. I ate at Jockamo's on Saturday and left the kids with my wife for a few and went next door to Black Acre to get my growlers filled. Can't say enough good things about Black Acre. Not allowing kids is really the only negative.

As for other other good Indy breweries, Brugge is about the only other that is a must stop. Broad Ripple Brew Pub is my personal favorite but they don't have a selection that wows out-of-towners. It's an old, dark, dusty, English pub with the best ESB on the planet on cask. Good scotch egg. Excellent fish and chips. But again, most people are looking for ipas and sours these days so I point them to Black Acre and Brugge.
