Not sure what caused this, any ideas? Will it be ok to drink?

Look out- it's going to IMPLODE!!!

Seriously, maybe it was a low-fill that was chilled and then 'shrunk' on you?

I got it yesterday and put it right in the fridge so that seems possible.

Yeah- I've never seen that before, but it doesn't look possible if it is a full can.

It is negative pressure situation. A vacuum. Beer will be under carbonated, most likely oxidized. Filled warm and chilled? No real answers unless you had intimate knowledge of their canning set up.

You are correct about the possible vacuum. It could be that they screwed up and canned water or they screwed up and sold a water filled test can.

Never seen that one before? I can say that on my last case oh Heady all of the pull tabs did not work. They would break right off without opening the can. Had to use an old school opener. Anybody else have this happen to them?

It indeed looks like a lowfill that also ran the gamut of temperatures. Even before it left the brewery and got this treatment, this can missed QC by a country mile and should never have left the brewery.

LOl, looks like a miss filled can, a full can could never do that.

Weigh it, and then a empty can and a full can. Do the math to find out how much beer is in the pictured defective one.

    After that, either:
    • Open/pour/smell/observe > drink or compost.
    • Save on shelf.
