My votes are for Joliet, Elgin and Oak Park.

I have to say Northern Lake County has a few nice ones, so I cannot say we are under served. Some I like better than others...

Well by underserved, I mean areas lacking in any breweries or brewpubs that might actually be able to support one or more.

Roselle! Has a great winery but needs a brewpub/brewery.

I don't know. I live in Roselle, and I'm fairly content with my options.

We've got Church Street in Itasca for an actual Brewery.
We have Bigby's in Addison for a great beer bar.
Ram in Schaumburg or Lucky Monk in Hoffman Estates for a Brewpub.
    Binny's in Bloomingdale for retail.

Nothing in Roselle proper, but it's the suburbs, everything is a 10 minute drive.

Mount Prospect. We have some decent locations for craft beery somewhat close, but in terms of brewpubs or breweries we have nothing close at all. You've got to go to the city or up to Tighthead.

Bar-wise, OP has Poor Phil's, which usually has a fantastic selection. Kinderhook Tap and Marion Street usually feature quality beers, but they're more limited in selection. A few other places make a decent effort, like Lake Street Bar & Grill. Now it's quality bottle shops that are hard to come by.

St. Charles. The fact that Stockholm's in Geneva is still open and doing well in spite of its totally subpar beer is an indication that the area would definitely support a high quality brewpub. That, and the fact that St. Charles is known for its strip of bars, it seems like a no-brainer.
