What Cigar City stuff should I pick up in FL?

    Visiting my parents this weekend. They're in Naples (meh). I've had the Jai Alai, Maduro Brown, and the Tocobaga Red. Anything readily available I need to snag?

    Saint Somewhere suggestions also welcome.

    The CCB collaboration with The Bruery is available in bottle shops around Tampa... There are 3 different variants available (same base beer but aged on different kind of wood spirals). There is also a baltic porter avaialble that is the 1000th batch, called Kalivepoeg. I was in the tasting room yesterday and they have bottles of El Mercialago and Black Whole. IMO Black Whole is not worth $6/12 oz bottle that they're chargine. If you can find a 4 pack of the Cubano-style Espresso Brown I would recommend that one, I love that beer but I haven't been seeing it around much. Also the Humidor IPA is worth grabbing if you see it (Jai-Alai base aged on spanish cedar). Check out Total Wine in Naples, they should have a decent selection of CCB stuff. I'm not sure how much of the not-so-regular stuff makes it down to the shelves in Naples.

    Might still be some Big Sound out there. Was a ton on shelves in Tampa last month, and it's a great beer. Also look out for Auld Alliance if you're into French style Scotch Ales.

    El Murcielago is (I think) brewery only. It's interesting, but it's a one and done at $20/bottle. Probably not worth the drive unless you really like tequila and cumin.

    Probably won't be able to find it, it's been scarce for a while. I've only seen once 4-pack in the last few months and it was bottled almost a year ago so I passed on it. Should be a fresh batch coming out soon I've heard.

    You might be able to snag some Heatwave or Church on a
    Hill as well. From Saint Somewhere, I'd recommend Lectio Divina.

    Didn't have a ton of luck. Did pick up some of the Guava Grove Saison. A lot of other stuff was sold out.

    Also, apparently no one likes Hopslam down here? The ABC on 41 had it in the singles/mix a sick pack section. Before anyone makes the trip it was all bottled on 1/26/12.
