What Conditions define leaving Neutral Feedback?

I dont think you can nudge someone on the extras they send.

 

None that I can think of, once a box leaves our hands we really have no control over what the shipper does with it. When box I shipped was lost in transit I promptly informed my trading partner there was a problem. The tracking number showed the box wasn't moving and instead of asking him to wait for me to sort it out with Fedex I sent a second box. He was very gracious about getting his package later than expected but fully understood because of good communication.

I like to think a Fedex employee who scarfed a box of beer took it home to a wife who said "what's this IPA shit I drink Bud Light".

 

Good point. I was looking at what people commented on when posting feedback and a lot have comments about how good the extras were. If they are good, I think that can maybe only help a score? The only situation where I can think of it hurting is if someone explicitly sends beer you say you don't like when you've taken into consideration what they like and sent something along.

 

To add to that, I think if 'extras' are an agreed part of the trade (2xbeer1+beer2 for beer3+beer4 and lets each throw in a couple extras to fill out the box) and the person sends some old IPAs or some widely distributed shelf beer that would be a knock against them in my book. All else being on about the trade I don't know if it would push it into neutral territory but it would turn me off trading with them again.

 

I'll add an extra if I need to fill out the box but don't expect anything in return.

 

There's definitely two kinds of "extras", actual random gifts tossed in and the vaguely agreed upon few extra bottles in addition to the target beers. True bonus extras are just that but when you've agreed to each throw in X more locals to fill out a trade then there is some standards in my mind
