What Do You Buy By The Case?

heady topper. nuff said. nothing else ever. yah i said it.

 

Last time I bought bulk it was 30 cans of Tecate and that was a year or two ago. I usually only buy 12 packs of Dale's if I can find them fresh but unfortunately that's been 6 months or more.

 

Just bought a case of NG Spotted Cow ($28) and Dragons Milk($72) at Woodmans in Kenosha ,WI.
Last week I scored my 1st ever case of BCBS at Jewel ....best price in town!!

 

Only things I buy by the case is beer/wine and liquor for the business.

Just some of the cases I pick up when I can. They can be kind of pricey and my friends say I spend too much, but I am a beer geek just like us all you know?

 

I rarely buy cases due to the money involved, but in the past I've purchased cases of Celebration. Nugget Nectar, and Brooklyn BCS. I also bought damn near a cases worth of Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueuze and Sebago BA Barleywine this summer.

 

Generally, I don't buy anything by the case since I don't drink every day - 12 packs are my limit. However, after a 4 hour one-way trip to HF & Alchemist, I did pick up a case of Heady and haven't regretted it at all.

 

Gumball Head and Zombie Dust, because I live a long freaking way from Munster. Locally I buy All day IPA and Head Hunter.

 

The only one I usually buy by the case is Grimbergen Dubbel, that is when I can find it............

 

My last case purchases were BCBS, The Oracle, Hopslam, and Expedition Stout. I have family in Kalamazoo and stop by Bell's to get a case of their seasonals when available, the BCBS was purchased by a concerted effort to find 4-packs locally.

 

My last case purchase was Flower Power. But there's a shit load I would buy if quantity wasn't so limited.

 

All this talk of cases of Heady Topper is making me thirsty. I am headed to Massachusetts in a couple weeks for a bit - does anyone know where/if there is somewhere I can pick up a case of Heady Topper in the area? Should I call ahead, or are there places that always have plenty stocked?

Looking at their website, I am expecting to have to drive up to Northern Vermont, but if anyone knows of any stores that have it closer to MA a tip would be great! Cheers.

I work at a store that gets in out of season/date or damaged boxes to put on sale by the case. I'll grab one whenever something noteworthy rolls through. Some are cellar experiments, some are for casual drinking and entertaining. So far I have bought a single case each of
