i work in a warehouse. shipping/receiving, moving heavy things around, and paperwork seem to be my daily tasks. been doing that since i graduated from college last year, just earning a paycheck until I find something in my field.

but i did just buy a nice homebrewing kit so maybe something beer-related is in my future!

 

Cheers my brother, was a proud janitor for some years before starting my own floor maintenance and office cleaning company back in the day. I can bop a slow speed with one finger, and my eyes closed, to this day.

These days I'm editing and sorting through all of the material that I've written over the last 40+ years. I have stuff everywhere, but I've learned quite a bit about history and myself. My Mom died last year and I still have much of her most personal communications from her family over the past 150 years. This is almost mind-boggling, but the North Carolina, Alabama, Arizona, California, and Texas truths over 3 centuries proves to be a great story. It is a hard slog, but George C. Marshall's letter to my Dad after the battle at Leyte Bay (dated April 14, 1945) will be enshrined. Also a missive from President Johnson from June 1967 that bemoaned my Mom's lack of support for the Viet Nam War. Both are now framed.
