My wife and I received a shadow box that has the words "save water, drink beer" printed on it. I'm about a third of the way full after almost a year and a half! This could take a while. Especially since a lot of breweries are strictly canning now.

Somebody needs to step up their beer-drinking activity. Have your friends and family save them for you, or invite them over often and have them help you drink your beer stash.

You'll probably have some offers from members here to send you some too if you don't have a rule that you personally have to drink the beer under the cap. I can send you 40-50 of them if you don't mind all of them being from the same brewery.

Dogfish Head's "danger cap" (for their beers in excess of 15% ABV) are yellow. It will just depend if your liver holds out long enough to get the number you need.

I appreciate the offer, but yes, it is sort of a personal goal of mine to actually fill it myself!

    Cheers!

I'll have to keep an eye out for them, Dogfish Head just started distributing here a couple months ago.

Larry's Latest Sour from Bell's has a mostly-yellow cap if you don't mind buying a sour ale.

I just came here to comment this! I grabbed one in a mix 6 over the weekend and noticed the bright yellow cap and recalled this thread.

I started putting one of each unique cap on my beer fridge. These magnets are perfect for beer caps. A millimeter or so thinner than the cap, but powerful enough that it sticks to cap and fridge easily with no glue required. And they're cheap.

I'm kicking myself over the caps I tossed before I started saving, particularly the one-time releases like Bell's Planets.
