Give them to hobo's instead of change.

Put them in timeout into the back of the fridge so they can think about what they did wrong. And after a month or so if they still haven't apologized than it's grounded for life.(aka the basement).

But in all seriousness if it's something I just simply can't bear (wouldn't have bought in the first place) than it gets drained, but if it's bearable I will usually drink it with a meal, preferably something spicy. Works every time.

My first purchase of almost every beer is either a single bottle or a pint in a bar. No matter how bad a beer may be, I tough it out and finish it.

If I purchase multiple bottles it is because I know that the beer is worthy.

Cook with them or give the stuff to thirsty non descriminating house guests. They're happy and it frees up storage space for more Schlenkerla Eiche.

It doesn't really sound like you have THAT much leftover beer. I had a Memorial Day party last year and had about 40 beers leftover. Half were what I stocked for the party, the other half were extras that friends brought over. I ended up drinking a lot of so-so beer for the next couple months, but I got through it and was able to justify a couple splurges while I was winding down the surplus. Always look for that silver lining.

Just don't buy beer for a week or so and drink what you have.

The place I go to has a mix-a-six pack option, so if it's something I haven't tried, I'll only get a single. If I find I don't like it, I can, a) cook with it, b) use it in the bread machine, or last resort c) unclog the drain with it. And never buy it again.

If I know it's a quality beer but for some reason doesn't fit my taste, I give it to one of my craft beer drinking co-workers. This just happened last week; Old Rasputin is my Imperial Stout of choice but our area has run dry of it lately.
I purchased two 4packs of Founders IS for the first time. Turned out it just didn't do it for me (no need to explain the reasons) so I gave one of the 4packs to a co-worker. I am now waiting for my two 4packs of Old Rasputin to be delivered from Leukens in Florida.

When I was new to this website, I once started a thread asking ``what do you do with beer you don't like?''. Another BA (can't remember who) told me ``I give it to people I don't like''.

I still like that answer, but since I started going to a weekly tasting at the local bottle shop, I rarely (if ever) wind up with beer I don't like. If I do, I just bake bread with it.
