straight to the dome. I have a stopper that I need to use so I can start to take care of my BT, CR & MW over the course of a couple nights

It's a complicated, but well thought out process that I've found to work every time:

    1. Buy it
    2. Drink it

probably the best answer on ths thread but its a fail if no "wooooooooooing" is done immediately after said chug. I drink bombers all the time by myself.

Drink it by myself. A bomber isn't difficult to put away...

Usually split them with the wife or company. In the instances where she doesn't like the beer, I have wine stoppers and am not afraid to use them. If I can't or don't feel like drinking the whole bomber in a sitting (however arbitrarily long that may be), stopper 'em and put back in the chiller for the next day.

I usually drink 'em by my lonesome, but then I get happy.
But seriously, I like to share. I wish more stuff was available in a smaller format vs. the 22 oz bombers.

I don't buy them all that often, but when I do I go it alone.

If I'm not sharing it, I stopper it and save the second portion for the next night. I even have a customized, hand-carved, home-made cork to re-cork the bottle when needed.

I think the masses have spoken.

    Drink it myself: Everyone
Do something else with it: No one

I rarely share my bombers, and I rarely wait for a special occasion to drink a beer- it's more or less dependent
upon the mood I am in. I usually drink a bomber in two nights, unless it's 5% or less, and I have a good wine sealer which preserves the beer well for night 2.

I'm lucky enough to have a group of guys that I drink with about 3 times a month, I share a lot of my stuff. If it's a limited release, rare bottle, or something I traded for that they haven't I had I try to save it to share. I have some stuff that I love too much to share, so I have no problem taking down a high abv bomber :grinning:

I like to think I'm saving them for a special occasion and/or to share with friends. After looking at the cellar, apparently every day from now until the end of the year is going to be special or I need to have more friends over.

It's a calorie issue with me, so I rarely drink more than twelve ounces or so in one sitting. I've tried wine stoppers of various types, but they don't work too well. A guy at a local bottle shop suggested that I pick up a wing capper and a bag of bottle caps. I've been pleased at how well the freshness and carbonation is maintained, even after several days.

I drink them and then i peel the labels and save them in an album, sometimes with tasting notes. If they are painted bottles then I skip it.

I nearly always have them myself, usually on a Sunday for an NBS review. When I'm done, it goes in the recycling bin. Usually, I seek out four or five 750s a month, specifically for NBS.

I have no problem committing to the purchase and consumption of bombers.
