What do you do with bombers/750s?

Drink it.

If it is serious ABV, wait for the weekend, then drink it.

 

I share if some one is present. I wait if not. Only one I've ever drank alone was Lagunitas Sucks. Low abv. I'm a wuss. Can't handle too much high abv and enjoy. Fall and Winter are approaching. Sipping is in the air. Higher abv's will be welcome. Cheers folks!!

60% of the time I'll pour half, stopper it and drink the other half when I'm ready for my next beer.
30% of the time I'll share it with my roommate.
10% of the time it's at a bottle share.

Share with my wife. I usually keep the empty bottles if it has a nice label.

 

I usually share the big American beers I trade for with a buddy who brings a traded bottle along as well. This way you can try both beers and still have a decent sample.

I love the chug a big bottle all by myself, only if it's a low ABV beer. I don't see myself drinking a BA Zhukov or something with a likely texture all by myself. After 1-1.5 glass I prefer some variety.

 

I haven't had many but last one I had (Rodenbach Caractère Rouge) I drank about half, sealed it up with a wine bottle vacuum stopper thingee, and then finished off the next day. It worked out OK I thought. I currently have a large Chimay Blue in my fridge that I anticipate drinking all in one evening, preferably tonight.

 

I generally avoid them because like you OP, I rarely find the occasion for them.....that, and they are a bloody rip off

I tend to not buy them. While it's not a ridiculous amount of beer to drink in one sitting the pricing tends to dive me away unless it's a special occasion celebration purchase.

 

Finding a fresh bottle of Congress St is ALWAYS a special occasion celebration!

 

I usually drunk it myself. I also will save a unique or high rated beer and share with my drinking buddy. We so a bottle share a couple times a month..

 

I buy them and drink them right away, usually same day. I stop by my local grocer and if there is something I haven't tried, or the beer guy is around I will ask for suggestion. Most of the time IDK what it is, I just grab it and go. I also am keeping them all on top of the fridge so I can have a reminder of the awesomeness I enjoyed.
