What do you do with your grains after mashing??

    I live in a large apartment building so composting probably wont go over too well, so for the time being they sit in the garbage room in the basement of the building.

    I save them for the hot admin in my office who keeps chickens. I gotta stop doing that. Not so good for my marriage.

    I like spent grains with honey and milk for breakfast or in cookies. I also mix it with my dirt for the garden and the hops seem to like it so far.

    Chickens go nuts over spent grain...so if you have access to some chickens...give it to the chickens.

    I dump them in my neighbors field. I do send him to deer camp with a couple growlers.

    Property is too small to legally hunt on. However, if you wanna wrassle the hogs into the brewhaus, I'd love to watch. :grinning:

    Compost or make a farmer friend and offer it for feed.
