Many mentioned before I love like Brooklyn's Sorachi Ace or Ommegang's Hennepin but Green River Ambrosia's Ginger Libation is amazing with sushi and any Asian style cuisine.

Beer and sushi is such an awesome combination. I like pale ales, or slightly tart and/or peppery saisons

I've usually paired sushi with pilsener, weissbier, or saison. As others mentioned, ginger beer sounds like a good choice too. I'd like to try pairing with Dogfish Rosabi sometime.

Pils, Sparkling Ales, Helles...or even something plain and sharp as Asahi Super Dry, as someone suggested. I wouldn´t like to take much out the flavours from a good sushi but use the beer as a palate cleanser.

I usually have beer with sushi but unsweetened green tea works great also, and you can even mix it with sochu if naughty enough on a Saturday night at Osaka or Tokyo.

One of the first times I had sushi, I was offered a sake, warmed, of course. After that, I was begging for a beer, any beer: the Beast. Piels. Bud Light. Something. Anything but sake - bleeech!

Bavarian style weizen seems nice pairing. If you prefer eat em spicy with lots of wasabi try to calm em down with a bit sweety traditional german helles)

I think you have to be careful with sushi. If it's something like rolls with a lot of added ingredients, there's strong flavors and there's many things that will work. If it's straight sashimi, there's very delicate flavors that can be very easily overwhelmed by what you pair with it. I like cheap sparkling wine like cava or prosecco with my sushi.
