Citrus. I love myself juicy IPA/DIPA's with a small amount of malt for balance.

I like IPAs and APAs that use a mix of both, but if forced to choose I could live without a pine flavor but not a citrus one, I find pine bitterness if used to heavy in the bittering hop additions can add up and start to linger a little to long for my taste. Grapefruit bitterness seems to cut a little cleaner.

    Also Tropical Hops!

I prefer the piney ones. Every time I drink a piney IPA it reminds me of going to the park for a walk in the woods. I'm weird I know.

Not a big fan of hops in general...a stout guy. But I do love the grapefruit aroma when I pour a Sucks. Terrific beer!

Citrus, though I actually prefer tropical fruit.

For me, pouring something new and discovering the way the hops work on the nose and palate is an important part of the magic that is great beer. This is the brewer's art! It's the overall balance of the beer that matters, and I could never limit myself to one particular flavor type.

This thread and the preferences is why Sucks and Dirt Wolf are on the market , it's the style most ipa lovers prefer.
