I'm a seasoned beer aficionado from Ohio but a complete newbie to beer trading. What are the Ohio beers those of you from other states are most interested in or have the hardest time getting, so I know what I should offer proactively in trades?

    Fat head IPAs
Jacky'Os BA stuff and some of the others
    Rarer Hopping Frog stuff

These are a few things I have seen on the forums but Im sure there is much more. Good luck and Cheers

    Mmmmmmmm.... Bodhi

My two trades with a new trading partner in Ohio both involved Jackie o's and some columbus brewing (bodhi and creeper)

I'd say fat heads, Jackie o's, CBC, and thirsty dog

Jeez, a lot. Head Hunter brews , White Rahja , Columbus brews, Jackie Os. Really outstanding stuff.

    #1 Bourbon Barrel Black Maple

Then in any order after that:
    • Bodhi
    • Creeper
    • Hop JuJu
    • Head Hunter
    • Wulver
    • BB Dark Apparition
    • White Rajah
    • BA Blackout
It seems like Jackie O's limited barrel aged releases draw the most interest on the forums. BB Black Maple and Bodhi were among the best beers that I drank in 2014.

I'm forever ISO of Jackie O's BB Black Maple and Sherry Oil and never have any luck.

Not sure why everyone is mentioning Jackie O's BA beers and not their sours / wilds / funky beers? Perhaps they appeal to a smaller audience but A Token of Our Extreme was a hot commodity for a bit. Others should trade well, such as the following:

    - CSAison Reserve
    - Dynamo Hum (Dynamo Fuzz released soon?)
    - Rubus Oro
    - Rubus Rojo

Beers from their upcoming release in May will trade well. If they ever bottle fruited versions of their berliners, those will trade well.

Willoughby's Peanut Butter Porter has some fans and Nut Smasher traded well. Rivertown's lambic stuff would get some attention but not for big beers. I've really liked Rhinegeist and Maumee bay stuff that I've had ... but that's probably more along the lines of nice extras.

I regularly travel between Philly and Columbus and I can tell you any Jackie O's stuff is probably my biggest request to pick up when I'm there. Bodhi ,Creeper, White Rajah and Fatheads beers not far behind. Good demand for the harder to get Hopping Frog beers not in wide distro as well. Rivertown's sours like Ojo Negros and the Gueuze are great but underated as far as trading goes, they make great extras though
