Honestly not a whole lot. I'm originally from Philly and go back to visit pretty often. You'll be able to find some more Cigar City stuff than in Philly.

Depending where in FL you are going you may be able to find Sweetwater though.

 

From my experience, you can get Cigar City stuff up here but not nearly to the extent and variety that you can get it in FL. If you are in the Tampa Bay area,ou may want t yo check out some breweries out there including Cigar City, 7venth Sun, Dunedin and Pegs Cantina (brew pub that pours Cycle Brewing). There may be others as well. Cheers!

CCB is in philly. I just had Snack Attack, Cognac imperial Sweet Stout, Ghost Stories, and Kumquat Berliner...I don't think people in FL got the chance to try them all.

It really depends where in FL you are going. If he is near Boca I'd say check funky buddha and due south.

 

I don't think there is an awful lot in FL besides some of the local beers that you won't find in Philly. But I was just at Funky Buddha last night, and I will never come to FL again without visiting Ryan, Morgan, and the gang! Stopped in at Big Bear too. Solid, but not great. Worth the stop to do a flight, and grab some grub....

 

If you're in the Tampa Bay area stop by Rapp Brewing.....great local brewery. He keeps a nice little selection of 20 of his own beers on tap.....

Cigar city is the easiest yup get ahold of in terms of good stuff (their regular line up is worth every penny), other than that it depends where you are. Funky buddha was mentioned and is great bur if ur in tally its like suggesting hill farmstead to ppl in philadelphia. Pegs and seventh sun are awesome in tampa, intuition is good in jax. Kinda depends where the op is going.
Terrapin is also a decent pickup from anywhere in fl.

Besides CCB, if you're in Tampa 7venth Sun and Peg's are pretty much mandatory stops and he's right about Funky Buddha and Due South if you're in South Florida. Orlando also has Cask & Larder which is worth the trouble for the food alone and Ron Raike makes a mean beer.
